Player to Watch!!

With the Chippewas starting the season 0-8, some could say the team is off to a slow start, but one player is picking up right where she left off last season. Coming off a season in which she received Second Team All-MAC honors, Kaysie Gregory, has been one of the few bright spots for the Chippewas so far.

The Senior from Rome, NY, is looking to improve on a year in which she played in all 19 games, starting in 18 of those games for a team who went on to win the MAC. She also finished second on the team in goals (6), tied for the team lead in points (19), and actually led the team in assists (7).

Fast forwarding to this season, Kaysie is looking to expand on her stats from last season by already tying her record with 6 goals through 8 games.  The midfielder has also accounted for half of her team's point by posting 14 up until this point. Although her assists (2) are down a little from last year, look for those to increase as the season goes on.

With conference play just underway, look for the Chippewas to continue to look to their senior leader for guidance. The team starts a series of home games tomorrow with Pacific (5-4) at 3:00, in which they are hoping to receive their first win.
